The riders of Valentino Rossi’s team, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi, are gaining altitude in the World Championship. In the first three long races at least one VR46 rider reached the podium, the ‘Bez’ triumphed in Argentina.

The situation of another of his pupils is more complicated, Franco Morbidelli, who after switching to the official Yamaha team is struggling to find a good harmony with the YZR-M1. “It is a crucial moment for Franco. The only way he has (to continue with Yamaha, ed) is to be as fast as Quartararo, that’s the goal. Now it’s a little more difficult with the Yamaha – concluded the champion from Tavullia -, but he has to give his all if he wants to keep his place in the factory team“.
