What you need to do is just inquire about compliance with the terms by the region or the Revenue Agency. The date of dispatch of the envelope is considered, i.e. the date when the notice was delivered to the post office and not when it left from the post office.

Then you need to know that the stamp duty expires after three years, so after these years you no longer have the duty to pay it.
