Most of the United States may experience blizzards for the 2022 holiday season, but Jeep is focused on warmer weather. The 2023 Wrangler High Tide is all about beach fun, and the limited-edition 500 Jeep Beach model based on the High Tide will add a little pizzaz… for a little more cash of course.

Starting at $53,335 (including a $1,795 destination fee), the 2023 Wrangler High Tide starts life as the Sport S trim and then gets all kinds of standard equipment. That includes the Xtreme Recon Package, which features 1.5-inch suspension lift, 4.56 rear gear, 35-inch off-road tires on 17-inch beadlock-enabled wheels, fender flares, and some simple Mopar upgrades. The High Tide also gets rock rails, a body-colored hard top and a Sunrider flip top, LED headlights and a High Tide sticker on the hood. Beneath that sits a 3.6-liter V6 with an eight-speed automatic.

For those who want something more, Jeep will be converting the 500 High Tide Wrangler into a special Jeep Beach edition. Buyers get all of the above, plus Jeep Beach embroidered leather seats from Mopar, body-colored fenders, and Jeep Beach branding for the bonnet, swinging doors, and 20th anniversary shifter medallions. This raises the price to $55,835.

What’s with the 20th anniversary? it’s an ode to Jeep Beach Week held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Jeep enthusiasts from around the world head to the famous coastline for a week of fun in April, and 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the event.

“Jeep Beach Week in Daytona Beach, Florida, is one of the largest Jeep vehicle events in America, bringing together more than 200,000 Jeep enthusiasts and 20,000 Jeep SUVs in 2022 alone,” said Jim Morrison, head of the Jeep brand in North America. “With the Wrangler High Tide and the special 20th anniversary Jeep Beach edition, we can celebrate our customers’ passion for beach-ready vehicles during this week-long event.”

After debuting in early 2022, the High Tide and Jeep Beach trims return for 2023. The bank of orders is now open for both editions.
