The world’s biggest Ferrari special event is based not in Italy, but in Florida. The Palm Beach Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza holds this distinction, housing Ferraris from all eras in the company’s long history.

Taking place January 26-29 in Palm Beach, one doesn’t need to own a Ferrari to enjoy the action and this year’s event is special. The Italian brand pays homage to 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

Among the many Ferrari cars that graced the grounds of the Concours on Saturday, January 28, there will be cars that have been racing at Le Mans for years. Ferrari’s first appearance in endurance racing was in 1949; it marked the start of a legacy that led to dozens of class wins and nine wins overall. As such, this year’s Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza at The Breakers Hotel was a rare opportunity to see several of these special vehicles together in one location, competing for the attention of judges and spectators in a special Le Mans category.

“Ferrari has been a major protagonist at Le Mans for decades, and we felt the need to celebrate this extraordinary milestone with the great Ferrari line-up that made the history of the world’s most famous race,” said Cavallino and Canossa Chairman and CEO Luigi Orlandini. . “In 2022 we celebrate Ferrari’s 75th anniversary with a special line-up of cars representing each year of the marque’s history, now we want to pay homage to another motor racing icon: the 24 Hours of Le Mans.”

With the completion of the Concours, attendees had the opportunity to experience an authentic Italian dinner and charity auction following the awards ceremony.

Saturday’s Concorso d’Eleganza is certainly everyone’s favourite, but the four-day event actually kicks off on Thursday with a track day at The Concours Club. Fridays are reserved for cruising along Florida’s coastal highways in the Tour d’Eleganza. Sunday is a relaxed day at Mar-a-Lago with prettier cars, this time open for other makes and models to peruse during a special lunch.

As one of the biggest winter motoring events in the world, the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza is always an exhilarating experience filled with beautiful cars, delicious food, incredible views and more. Tickets are available for Ferrari owners and fans online at Cavallino.com, with a portion of the ticket price going to charity. You can also join fans and other participants in the discussion about this year’s Classics at FerrariChat.
