Valentino Rossi begins planning his 2023 season, the second in motor racing. The Belgian will be in car #46 together with Valentino Rossi Maxime Martin and the Brazilian Augusto Farfus Jr. who with the BMW brand won the FIA ​​GT World Championship in 2018, the Intercontinental GT Challenge in 2020 and the 24 Hours of Daytona twice in the GTLM class.

The trio will participate in the Fanatec GT WCE powered by AWS in 2023. Maxime Martin is another established name in GT racing, boasting multiple victories at the Spa 24 Hours and Le Mans 24 Hours, with extensive experience with BMW M Motorsport. Team WRT will debut January 13-15 at Dubai 24 Hours. On the BMW M4 GT3 alongside Valentino Rossi there will be Maxime Martin, Sean Gelael and the British Tim Whale. A fifth driver will be nominated in the coming days.

The second appointment of 2023 will be there Bathurst 12 Hours, the presence of the Tavullia champion had already been widely announced in recent days. The first round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge 2023 powered by Pirelli will take place on the Australian track of Mount Panorama on February 4-5.
