The world is still adjusting to the new year, but the Amalgam Collection is already moving. The company announced that it is expanding its relationship with Ferrari. The Italian automaker will now allow customers to order bespoke Amalgam models when ordering their Ferrari.

The two have worked closely together since 1998, with Amalgam supplying customers with bespoke Ferrari models since 2005. The new partnership expands their collaboration efforts. Customers who order the new Ferrari Roma, 812 Superfast, 812 GTS, Portofino M, SF90 Stradale or SF90 Spider from their Ferrari dealer can order the appropriate bespoke model from Amalgam in 1:8 or 1:12 scale. The smaller order model will only be available from dealers.

Ferrari sent the car’s specifications directly to Amalgam, who then made a perfect miniature copy. Models include bespoke original car exteriors and interiors, with the 1:8 scale model featuring opening doors and many details. Amalgam sells a model with a carbon fiber base and a transparent dust cover. It also offers display mats and lighting options as available options so that customers can create the perfect display.

Amalgam and Ferrari’s relationship goes back decades, starting just a few years after they started making mini cars. Toy companies make several different makes and models that look just like the real thing. Amalgam takes great care to create detailed models and has even integrated smartphone connectivity into it, enabling work lights and automatic doors.

Amalgam ended last year by looking back at 2022 and the models it launched. The company is also launching new fine art silkscreen prints, which will continue into 2023 with the Aston Martin print collection. They will highlight the cutting-edge Valkyrie and the iconic DB5.

The models planned to be built include the Bugatti Type 59, Mercedes-AMG One, Ferrari 250 TR, Ferrari Purosangue, Gen 3 Formula E cars, and many more. It will also build the aircraft – the De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito (1:16 scale) and the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress (1:32 scale). Expect Amalgam expertise and attention to detail in everything it has to offer in 2023.
