Refreshed 2024 Cadillac CT5 Prototype Spotted In Light Camo

Back in October, Cadillac Society details reported exclusively on the refreshed 2024 Cadillac CT5, which will bring a fresh face to the compact luxury sedan. Now, we’ve seen a prototype shrouded in lightweight front-end camouflage undergoing testing on public roads.

Previously, sources familiar with the matter explained that the front end of the 2024 Cadillac CT5 will be redesigned with a new headlamp set and slight changes to the front fascia. This spy shot confirms our source information, although the prototype seen here sports a placeholder headlight assembly that will be replaced by a more attractive unit on the production model.

Additionally, the front fascia was slightly altered to be more aggressive under camouflage, moving away from the “semi-smiley” design elements found on the current model. This particular 2024 Cadillac CT5 is in the Sport trim, as evidenced by the 19-inch wheels covered in Satin Graphite (production code 57M).

However, the windshield of the vehicle remains the same, including the somewhat controversial “bend” C-pillars which have been criticized in the past. Also, the taillights have not been changed from the current model, although sources indicate they are Cadillac Society that the luxury marque will probably give the luxury sedan a new graphic set of taillights, which were missing on this prototype.

There are no clear photos of the prototype’s interior, but the upcoming model will feature an overhauled cockpit design. The CT5 will get a widescreen that includes the instrument panel and infotainment screen, and in turn, the center stack will be revised to accommodate this screen. This update will be similar to what will be found in the refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4, via a trend that started with the Cadillac Lyriq.

It’s worth noting that this refresh isn’t expected to happen to the ultra-high-performance 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, which will continue the model’s existing exterior while getting some major interior updates from its lesser sibling.
