Sales Results – January 2024 – Mexico – Cadillac

The Cadillac Society Take

After of 12 consecutive months in the red, Cadillac Mexico sales are back in the green thanks to the healthy increase experienced in January. With this result, the luxury brand begins the 2024 calendar year with positive figures in the Mexican market despite a limited lineup.

The increase in Cadillac Mexico sales in January was driven by a drastic uptick in deliveries of the best-selling Cadillac Escalade. Sales of the full-size luxury SUV nearly doubled on a year-over-year basis, making it the marque’s most popular model during the month in the Mexican market. The improvement came as a result of availability improvements in the Latin country. In fact, the Escalade has led the marque’s sales since 2021, when the current, fifth generation model was launched.

The increase in Cadillac XT5 sales is also worth noting, as is the resurfacing of the new Cadillac Lyriq in the list of Cadillac sales in the Mexican market – the second time that the battery electric model has been on this list. The battery electric crossover accounted for six deliveries in January, which serves as the first month that deliveries began to customers who reserved the vehicle during the reservation period. Notably, Cadillac saw zero deliveries of the refreshed Cadillac XT4, certainly due to a lack of inventory.
