Ship Carrying 3,000 Cars Burns Off Dutch Coast, One Death Reported

A cargo ship carrying nearly 3,000 vehicles caught fire Tuesday night off the Dutch coast. Reuters reports that the fire started near an electric vehicle. The inferno quickly spread, killing one, and forced several others to jump overboard. The Dutch coast guard reported earlier this morning that the ship is still on fire.
