Every week we publish many renderings. While some of them preview the actual new models coming in the next few months, others are done mostly for fun. They envision super-futuristic creations that are unlikely to hit the production line anytime soon, if ever at all.

here at Motor1.com, we all love virtual images and that’s why we thought we’d share one additional rendering article each week. It incorporates the best design exercises created by our own artists, as well as drawings provided by independent automotive designers, students and just regular gearheads.

We’ll be updating this article with new renderings from last week every Thursday. This way, you’ll have all the cool digital interpretations for when you want to get a glimpse into the future.

Recently, patent images of the new Toyota Tacoma were leaked in Brazil. The pictures aren’t detailed enough, although the folks at Kolesa.ru created this rendering based on a patent to preview the new truck.

The plain black-and-white sketch previews the V12 replacement for the Lamborghini Aventador and like the Tacoma, these renderings turn leaked patent images into virtual cars. The actual supercar will finally debut in March this year.

Mercedes-Benz is betting big on electrification. Starting next year, the company will have a new architecture for electric vehicles, which will also support EQA. The small sedan will be a zero emission alternative to the CLA, featuring a new generation of batteries and electric motors.

The next-generation Santa Fe is currently in development and from the first spy photos, we know it will have a very different design. These renderings feature the boxy-looking family SUV, which will share its underpinnings with the Kia Sorento.
