Canadian Cadillac sales increased 38 percent to 4,173 units during the third quarter of 2022.

Cadillac Society Take
After experiencing sales declines for four consecutive quarters, Cadillac Canada sales saw a healthy increase during the third quarter of 2022. The increase was the result of a significant increase in production and the subsequent availability of inventory at dealers. With this, the luxury brand recovered 1,152 units against its third quarter 2021 result, maintaining the volume momentum it started in Q2 2022.
Sales growth during Q3 was led by the Cadillac XT4, which not only posted the highest growth rate in the portfolio, but also became the brand’s best-selling model during the quarter. The Cadillac XT5 follows close behind in second place thanks to a healthy year-over-year double-digit increase. CT5, Escalade ESV and XT6 also green.
In contrast, Cadillac Escalade and CT4 were in the red during the quarter. Full-size SUVs saw their second quarterly decline since the launch of the fifth-generation model in Canada. In fact, Q3 was the second straight quarter in which the Cadillac XT4 and XT5 outsold the Escalade in the Canadian market.
