We’re not done with the extra stuff yet as the 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X can also be equipped with a power sunroof for an extra $1,000. There is also a soft tonneau cover for $595 while the $1,250 hard tonneau is not compatible with the Edition 1 Package. Removable side steps are offered for $495 and you can also spend $120 for a set of four cargo straps. Other items include cargo box LED lights for $350, front license plate brackets for $40, engine block heaters for $100, steel driveshafts for $695, and black chrome exhaust tips for $200.

Stepping into the cab, GMC will charge you $50 for the red seat belts, $849 for the Kicker sound system, and $495 for the off-road recovery kit. With all the included bells and whistles, the 2023 Canyon AT4X with Edition 1 Package costs $71,724 before taxes, title, licensing and dealer fees.

As previously reported, all trim levels are offered exclusively with a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine that produces around 310 horsepower (230 kilowatts) and 430 pound-feet (583 Newton-meters) of torque sent to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. . With the third-generation model, Canyon has dropped the Duramax diesel engine because GM believes its petrol engine is good enough.
