EarthCruiser specializes in building high-end, extremely tough off-road vehicles. The company’s newest offering in the United States is the Core Dual Cab Chassis which has room for six people and an adjustable rear end for a variety of uses, such as forest firefighting or rescue operations.
The chassis is based on Isuzu NPR. Power comes with a 6.6-liter V8 that produces 350 horsepower (261 kilowatts) and 425 pound-feet (576 Newton-meters) of torque. The drivetrain consists of a six-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The four-wheel drive system includes front and rear locking differentials.

EarthCruiser equips the Core Dual Cab Chassis with specially tuned leaf springs and performance dampers. There are live aces at both ends. Each corner has ventilated disc brakes with dual piston calipers. Rotors measure 13.7 inches at the front and 13 inches at the rear.
With a chassis cab configuration, buyers can equip the rear for whatever job they need. For example, the Core EarthCruiser model is already in service with several Oregon fire departments. They serve tasks like being high axle water rescue vehicles.
In April 2022, EarthCruiser switched to the Isuzu NPR Series Class 4 from the previous Fuso platform. The company plans to use the chassis for its EXP, FX and Core models. The company equipped the chassis with its own four-wheel drive system, including parts such as the Atlas transfer case, Fusion axle and Auburn locking differential.
Terranova is another EarthCruiser product line. This one-ton chassis pickup-based model has a camper in place of the cargo bed. Features include a pop-up roof so a person as tall as 6 feet 5 inches can stand inside. The elongated section has eight windows to let more light into the cabin. Inside, there is a queen-sized bed and a seating area for four people which can be converted into another bed. The kitchenette includes a sink, cooktop and fridge.
